Do I have to cancel my trip to get reimbursed?
No. If conditions meet your Weather Guarantee, you’ll be reimbursed automatically and you can still enjoy your stay.
What types of weather are covered?
Covered weather is: rain/ice/snow.
When will I be paid?
You’ll get a text/email notification the morning of eligibility. Payments are initiated immediately once you confirm how you’d like to be paid. Most guests see funds within a few business days.
How much will I get back?
Reimbursements are typically a daily payout equal to your average nightly rate or amount of time the weather impacted your vacation.
How is the weather tracked?
Sensible Weather uses trusted sources like NOAA, ECMWF, and NASA to monitor both forecasts and real-time conditions. You don’t need to submit anything—coverage triggers automatically.
Is this the same as travel insurance?
No. Travel insurance is broader (medical, cancellation, etc.). A Weather Guarantee is weather-specific and works automatically—no claims, no paperwork.

How much does this cost?
As little as 5% of your nightly cost.
